Galup is a walking performance exploring the history of Lake Galup (Lake Monger) in Perth's west. To be directed by Poppy van Oorde-Grainger and created in collaboration with Noongar theatre-maker Ian Wilkes and the local Noongar community, Galup will see Lake Monger’s history re-visited and re-told in a live digital theatre work, with the audience circumnavigating the lake, stopping at various intervals to watch scenes and complete participatory actions.
